Renée Combs is a designer, writer, and proud crazy cat lady.

Raised on a steady diet of books and Disney movies, Renée was practically predestined to have a love of words. She left her small central New York town for Boston, MA, where she received her B.A. in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College and cofounded the Boston Teen Author Festival during her senior year. After a decade of bouncing between Boston and NYC—and getting an MLS in youth Library Science from Simmons University in between—she finally settled in the middle and is living her best Gilmore Girls life in central Connecticut with four cats, a hoard of books, and a penchant for thinking she can accomplish ANY home improvement herself. Renée is currently working on her first novel.
